Our walks are designed for comfortable pacing—we typically cover the 4.2 km boardwalk loop in about 90 minutes with time to pause and take in the views. We're not rushing anywhere, and you can always take breaks whenever you need them. Most of our participants are aged 55+, so we know what works for this pace of travel.

Bring layers—Ķemeri's bog environment can be cool and damp even when it's warm elsewhere. Waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes with good grip, and a hat are essentials. The boardwalk itself is well-maintained and safe, so you don't need hiking boots, just footwear with decent traction.
